About the Work: With the 2010 Olympic Winter Games just around the corner, Tourism British Columbia wanted to leverage games interest and get potential visitors to the come and experience the variety of amazing places and activities BC has to offer.
A mass campaign featuring famous British Columbians showcased a variety of feature destinations and activities that show why BC was a natural choice to host the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. To support and extend the campaign we shot and produced a family of dynamic, short documentaries. They combine interviews with passionate British Columbians and stunning HD footage of the province's major centres, cultures, events, and attractions. Topics covered include: Vancouver, Whistler, Victoria, Food & Wine, Ski & Snowboard, Aboriginal Culture, Golf, Hiking & Biking, Sailing & Whitewater, and Winter Fun.
The documentaries are distributed by Tourism BC at HelloBC.com/videos and YouTube.com/tourismBC. They were also licensed by NBC for use in their 2010 Olympic Coverage.
